Radiation Effects Engineer
Location: Centennial, CO
Responsibilities
The Radiation Effects Engineer implements the ionizing radiation control plan for space programs. This includes understanding electronic component applications within a design and then determining , by the review of radiation effects data &/or experimental test, if each component meets program objectives and customer requirements from a radiation effects perspective. This position requires for the Radiation Effects Engineer to interact effectively with design and component engineering staff.

Experience
At least 3 years of relevant space radiation effects engineering experience to include the analysis of both single event effects and total ionizing dose in digital and/or analog electronic components.

At least 2 years of relevant hands-on experience in performing experimental measurements of one or more of the following for electronic components:

1) SEE effects with heavy ion, proton, and/or neutron beams.

2) TID/ELDRS effects.

At least 1 year of experience with the calculation of on-orbit SEE upset rates via Creme96, Space Radiation, or an equivalent tool.

Reliability and/or EEE Component Engineering experience a plus.

Ability to obtain a security clearance is required

Education
B.S. or graduate degree in electrical engineering, physics, or other applicable engineering discipline.

 



Reliability Engineer
Location: Centennial, CO
Seeking a Reliability Engineer with at least 5 years of relevant reliability experience for space systems, including interfacing with internal and external customers. Candidate must have at least 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in performing and documenting stress derating analysis, worst case analysis, failure modes and effects analysis and reliability predictions for complex space electronics systems. At least one year of relevant experience performing and documenting EEE parts stress derating and worst case analyses is required. Ability to obtain a security clearance is a plus. Maintainability and Safety Engineering, Radiation Engineering, and/or Component Engineering experience is also a plus  



Sr. Technical Support Engineer
Job Summary:

As a member of the Support Organization this person will provide product technical support to customers in web caching and HPC system environments. This person will work closely with the QA and Engineering teams to insure our products meet customer expectations. The candidate will deliver high-quality technical assistance for data center appliance products through phone, web and email. Independently debug broad, complex and unique clustered systems issues. Perform installation and product trainings.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing hardware and software technical support to customers. This includes the installation and configuration of clustered server modules, as well as diagnosing system and network connectivity issues
Manage critical customer accounts and escalation requests and provide customer advocacy for, and timely resolution of product issues
Document and reproduce customer related NFS and Memcache workload problems, and coordinate bug fixes through QA and Engineering
Work with Engineering and Technical Marketing to enhance the end-user product experience via product and product documentation changes
Document all customer interactions as cases in our CRM database.
Contribute to and maintain customer facing knowledge base articles
Requirements:

The candidate will have a demonstrated track record of providing outstanding customer service in a networked systems environment
Must have a strong ability to accurately gather, communicate, and document technical issues
You must possess excellent knowledge in NFS, Linux, and networking and have proven skills in supporting end-users and resolving product issues for network storage applications (NAS)
You should also have experience in test planning and documentation
You must have at least 3-5 years of experience in networking and supporting Linux systems in an HPC environment
You should have knowledge of scripting languages (shell, perl, php etc.)
Experience with LAMP and other web stack technologies plus knowledge of web caching technologies (Memcached) is a plus
Travel: Approximately 25%
Education: BS Eng or CS preferred
